Texas to Ibiza

Dallas, Houston and Austin all reach the island with a single European connection.

Texas is better connected to Europe than many buyers expect, and the Ibiza pattern from the state is the standard one: a transatlantic flight to a European hub, then a short hop of about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes to the island. Dallas Fort Worth and Houston both typically have nonstop service to Madrid, alongside long-established routes to London, Frankfurt, Paris and Amsterdam. Several US and European carriers operate these routes, with more frequency in summer; check current schedules for your dates.

Austin's international network has grown steadily, and it typically offers seasonal nonstops to European hubs such as London and Frankfurt. Where a direct European link does not fit, a short domestic positioning flight to Dallas or Houston keeps the journey to one meaningful connection.

Choosing the hub

  • Madrid: the shortest and most reliable onward connection to Ibiza, year round
  • London, Frankfurt, Paris and Amsterdam: dense seasonal Ibiza service in summer
  • November through April: route through Madrid or Barcelona for the dependable winter schedule

Practical timing from Texas

Transatlantic departures from Texas leave in the late afternoon or evening and arrive in Europe the following morning or midday. A well-chosen connection puts you in Ibiza by late afternoon, roughly 14 to 16 hours after leaving home. Given the seven-hour time difference from Central Time, most of our Texas clients arrive the day before viewings begin and keep the first evening light: a walk, an early dinner, an early night.

Hoy Hoy Ibiza plans around your itinerary rather than the reverse. Your advisor coordinates viewings around your arrival time, lines up several consecutive days of appointments so one trip covers the whole shortlist, and handles the rest of the process remotely once you are back in Texas.
